"You are the sky. Everything else is just the weather."
-Pema Chodron

I knew at age 10 that I was here to help.

I  was that little kid who other kids came to for my "advice" and compassionate heart. Decades later, I feel so very fortunate to tell you that I am still doing what I believe I was born to do, albeit now as a seasoned clinician in an adult body!

I really LOVE my job.

I  have been a transpersonal, somatic arts psychotherapist since 2001,  serving clients in person and online in Colorado, Washington and North Carolina. And, I work with people worldwide on Teleheatlth as a generative life-coach and healing practitioner. â€‹

I value growing and learning and provide a palatte of offerings to clients

As such, I've accrued many credentials and pursued lots of continuing education. I am a licensed psychotherapist (LPC, LMHC) and a registered and board certified art therapist (ATR-BC). I am a certified Hakomi therapist (CHT), and an ACS (Accredited Clinical Supervisor) for psychotherapists as well as a consultant for organizations in areas of my expertise. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Brainspotting; both excellent modalities for trauma healing, attachment-based couples counseling and sex, intimacy and erotica coaching.  I am extremely experienced and gratefully steeped as a psychedelic therapist and guide in ketamine assisted psychotherapist (KAP) as well as having completed a rigorous, state-approved and legal training in psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy.

Transpersonal Psychology, including mindfulness meditation and creative somatic (body-centered) modalities are core to all that I do.

These are just some of the ways that I work. To see it all, head to the "How I Work" page.

And here are some other capes that I wear...

I am a certified Death, Dying and Living Coach, trained through the Conscious Dying Institute. www.consciousdyinginstitute.com

and

I am an End of Life Death Doula, trained through Emberlight Conscious Center for Living and Dying.

 www.emberlightway.org

I offer deeply sensoric in-person healings from various shamanic approaches, as well as in-person or online cowrie shell divinations inspired and taught to me from my North American and West African teachers, including Elders Malidoma Some and Sobonfu Some.

Additionally,  I am a dedicated meditation practitioner, ritualist and ceremonialist.

I am a balanced blend of a left-brained, sharp clinician, and a right-brained creative.

A little bit more about my professional background and who I am...

I began teaching Graduate students to be psychotherapists and art therapists in 2001 at Naropa University in Boulder, CO  www.naropa.edu where I earned my Masters Degree, and I taught there for over a decade. I then relocated to Seattle, Washington where I became Core Faculty in the Graduate School of Applied Psychology, Counseling and Family Therapy Department at Antioch University www.antioch.edu/academics/counseling-therapy/clinical-mental-health-counseling-aus teaching  mental health counseling psychology and art therapy to graduate students.

I am an artist who loves to do encaustic art, painting with melted and pigmented beeswax and FIRE as a paintbrush. I relish in watercolor painting, alcohol ink painting, mixed media painting and getting muddy as i spin pots on the potters wheel. I love to move my body and I spend lots of time in nature. I believe in playing and being silly while valuing working hard. I value the sacred and the profane. Buddhist meditation, mindfulness-based practices and an

eclectic blend of spiritual practices informs my life and enhances my work. I beliee in living and growing through creativity and beauty while also understanding firsthand what it feels like to endure suffering and living the growth on the other side.  These professional and personal passions and aspects of who I am in tandem with my authenticity and compassionate nature lend themselves to my effective, integrative approach to healing and coaching.
